Dance Meditation is a type of meditation in which we use the rhythm, movement, and inner joy which are typical qualities of many types of meditation. Any kind of dancing can be meditative. It is a type of Active Meditation. It allows practitioners to explore and experience that which is deep, profound, and spiritual without having to adopt or contain that experience in a belief system. In Dance meditation, practitioners are free to follow their own feeling of where it needs to lead them.
Dancing meditation is such a beautiful technique. You can do it anywhere and with any kind of music. This also helps you to burn some calories. It helps you to feel the joy of physical movement.

Steps to perform Dance Meditation:
Stand in an open space.
Close your eyes and start feeling music and rhythm.
Start moving your body. Let’s dance, no matter how you move, the only thing that matters is “Move your body and feel the music.
All these movements bring out your inner child.
Feel the inner joy.
